I got it re- downloaded and I have all the current dlc and everything for it.

08.04.2022I’m rewatching this series and I’ll come back and delete this comment incase you mention it but you have to be super observant about what creatures are near the dino you want to tame
Like you saw in the video there was another turtle chasing him because he attacked a member of the same species, normally I try to lure away the Dino I’m trying to tame from any others so I don’t get killed or waste resources trying to take down other the ones
Whether or not you have to worry about other dinos interfering depends on what type of behavior the dino you’re trying to tame to tame has (all members of the same species have the same behavior so don’t worry about having to check everytime)
There’s about 4 types of behavior you can view once you successfully tame a dino, press E (on pc) and select behavior there’s
Passive, Passive Flee, Neutral, and Aggressive
My rule of thumb is if it’s a neutral or aggressive dino (neutral meaning it won’t fight unless provoked and aggressive meaning the dino kills everything it sees no matter what) trying to tame one around others of the same species means you could get 40 some Dino’s trying to kill you all at once just because you picked a fight with one
I never worry about passive/passive flees (passives won’t fight back after being attacked, dodos in video for example are passive, and as for passive flees they start running away after the first hit and keep running) unless the passive flee can run away really fast and escape me and I can’t find them again
