Today we wanted to talk about some of the biggest video game worlds with games on PC, PS4, Xbox One, and more. This is beyond Skyrim and GTA, folks.

Consider this No Man's Sky have a massive map if you calculate all the 2 trillion plus planets that you can roam and build on but you really don't know all other games with massive maps have at least 30 Gigabyte game file where No Man's Sky have less than 20 Gigabyte files, that is programing on ultra level, I challenge all other game developers to beat that.
Wait.. as an avid Elite Dangerous player.. the 141 light year jump.. is VERY short.. for example, the center of the galaxy Sagittarius A (the black hole holding us all together) is like 25,000 light years from the main player hub.. I'm not buying that little story. Fuel rats are real MVP's though
6:38 Another interesting fact that happened with Elite Dangerous its that it actually predicted a real stelar system with its algorithim before it was actually discovered, it got the place and formation really really close from what it is in real life. They only noticed it when they were about to add the newly discovered Trappist-1 system in the game, only to find out it was already there lol
Starbound looking down at elite dangerous (or what ever its called) just thinking: finally a worthy opponent. Reason i say this is the starbound universe despite being 2d im 99.9% sure is infinitely generated
If you can warp travel 23,000,000 miles or take black holes that cover light years that doesn’t count as world size as it’s just a fancy loading screen loading in the next zone.
Minecraft world on multiplayer server can be infinite in size. Game can generate blocks until it will fill all RAM on server. So if you can have infinite RAM, you can have infinite world.
Yeah… the order is kinda wrong here. NMsS is the biggest, Elite in the middle, and Eve has the least amount of systems. And then again there are people who wild argue Eve isnt even a videogame…

05.05.2022Well if you where to flatten out the earth it would be almost 600 million Sq km.
Surface: Total Surface Area: about 509 600
000 square km (197 000 000 square miles)
So minecraft is about the same.
Not including the nether or end.
