01.07.2022As an Avatar the Last Airbender fan, I must admit that The Wandering Village is also most definetely a must have.
Gadfly
30.06.2022I dont get why so many of these games look like they were released in tge 2000s. Guys, if your graphics are closer to 8 bit than city skylines (which looks great) youre doing it wrong and Im already not interested. I can build a city in excel that look better than half the stuff on this list
Anton Babylon
30.06.2022Finally! City builder about shummerian! Its my dream!

30.06.2022great video
Lone Gaming Wolf
30.06.2022Ostriv still is in Alpha, but it is solidly designed and more stable than quite some games released as "final version".

30.06.2022Games are interesting but it looks like the city builders are not the type of game you can do with 1 man dev team.
These games are complex and need a proper game studio to build it.
You can see the games that are done by bigger studios are being released. Those one man shows are 20 years in early access limbo.

30.06.2022Dear devs: please, try to come up with non-rectangular grids. You can do it.
Rudeboy John
30.06.2022"release was planned for 2020 but the studio suffered some setbacks."
Me too, Studio. Me too. STARES INTO THE VAST WASTES

30.06.2022"Builders of" if they have good core gameplay, they can be clones of each other with different visuals, music and minor things and still be really good. However if not, all 3 will suck.
EyesOfTheFox
30.06.2022Are their any feudal Japan themed historical city builders?
Roi Bautista
30.06.2022I swear I watched the whole vid but my brain is glitching and I'm unsure if you mentioned this game.
Please, If you're unaware, do check songs of syx!
Hidden gem 🥺
Jeremy Piven
29.06.2022WOW!….none of those games look interesting or even slightly decent. It's like city-builders are an entry-level game design style for kids that recently finished a gaming and simulation programming course at DeVry

29.06.2022“It’s relaxing” while the city burns in the background hahah killed me

29.06.2022warum sehen all eure neuen games aus wie pixel games von vor erfindung des internets >.> meine fresse… nur einmal eine japanische stadt aufbauen aber das kannste vergessen, sowas gibts nicht.

29.06.2022I love old-school city builders, but I wish they wouldn't keep recycling the same civilizations (Rome, Greece, Egypt, China). How about something based on the Aztecs or Mayans? Or ancient North American natives, which archeology has shown actually had complex societies and built large, multi-tribal cities.

29.06.2022Yep just upgrade sim city thats all they have to do and make sure i has no limit like skylines where a certain amount of cars or people etc then limits the game to stop potential crashes to crappy computers. But there should be a legal clause to just make a really good one and sign a waiver that if your computer is crap and it breaks it you cant sue the company!
Carlos Delgado
29.06.2022Somehow New City reminds me of Blue Max for the 64. Who else?
Mattias Öberg
29.06.2022Omg what a load of indie crap coming up 😵😵😵
Garrett Myers
29.06.2022They all look like the same shitty game

27.06.2022Thumbed this video down since youtube's new push for adds. The way it is structured i got 33 commercials this video. Sorry but its to much.

27.06.2022It would be neat to see a game that has a similar feel to the world of Alita with the floating city above and the struggling city below. And you have to keep a certain balance of power and control so the city below doesn't revolt and destroy the city above at the same time not have so much power that it destroys the city below which consists of several aspects needed so the city above can thrive. A city building and management game built to keep the coexistence of both worlds from destroying one another, or maybe you do bring down the floating city and with that are able to rebuild a city on the ground benefiting from both. Or maybe you figure out a way to expand the floating cities to create more and become self sufficient where you end up destroying the city below you or combining their efforts to further yours. You decide the fate of the two "worlds".

27.06.2022Endzone has terrible music, but the game itself is pretty good
Abdulrahman Bahobeshi
27.06.2022What? yes I know cities skylines is the best.
Leonardo Gonçalves
27.06.2022Its incredible that to this day no game has ever topped Caesar 3 and Pharoh, even more than 20 years of its original release. It makes me really miss old Sierra and Impressions Games, only they knew how to make it right!
Patelivision
27.06.2022Man I really want a remake of Zeus. Maybe it's just me but to me it felt the most playful
Michael Bleck

25.06.2022I'd prefer the old stuff made better for modern machines. Why re-invent the wheel.
Joe Doe
25.06.2022Thanks for all of these videos…you are doing an incredible job…maybe it would be an interesting idea to update or refer to the older videos of this kind and tell how the games survived, evolved or went down..
Hunter
25.06.2022The irony of city building games, is that as your PC becomes more powerful to run a photo realistic games then boom devs build games with Nintendo Family Computer graphics O_o
j c
25.06.2022They should have just named Workers and Resources.. Ukraine. And the game ends when Russia takes over your country.

24.06.2022Workers & Resources: Soviet Republic looks now as a more finished game instead the others with "relise version", it has a very deep gamecore and a lot of content.
Manor Lords looks promising.
Andreas Ask
24.06.2022I like it when the games breaks free from the isometric grid. It gives more realism. Some of the new games look like Sim City 2000, even if they surely have more advanced features.
Tapi
24.06.2022Checking back after a year sadly:
Pelagos: Rise of Greece – Cerberus – Cancelled
Ymir – Experiencing server issues
Sad..
MAX85
24.06.2022Kingdoms Reborn might just be what i am looking for, but still EARLY ACCES ???
Any similar ones out? price tag 15e-30e.
I enjoyed Frostpunk, but it had lazy maps and lazy content, the engine was gooood.
Looking for something calmer and casual
